Industrial Nitrogen | Overview
CES offers reliable industrial nitrogen services solutions for routine maintenance, turnarounds, and shutdowns in multi-industry applications.
The large volume capacity of our equipment helps minimize transportation costs and traffic congestion by allowing scheduled deliveries and providing continuous pumping during replenishment. Each piece of equipment is designed to safely adapt to low and high pressure, high-volume environments, and is equipped with temperature and pressure safety shut-down systems.
Our nitrogen services are supported by experienced and certified personnel. All industrial nitrogen supervisors are IADC certified in pressure control operations, while our operators are certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO). We also adhere to the federal Operator Qualification (OQ) Program and all DOT regulations.
Industrial nitrogen services include:
- Refinery and Petrochemical
- Disposal and Storage Wells
- Pipeline Processing
- Steam Generation
Cudd Energy Services’ industrial nitrogen equipment provides added support for a wide range of industrial applications, including reactor heat up and cool down, drying, catalyst regeneration, pressure testing, pipeline pigging and purging and production transfer and unloading. Our fleet of equipment includes 180K-740K SCFM nitrogen pumping equipment that provides both low and high pressure, high-volume capabilities to safely and efficiently meet your needs. The pumps can accommodate pressure rates up to 10,000 psi and temperature deliveries from -320°F to 950°F. Application specific design coupled with robust, rugged equipment allows a wide range of industrial nitrogen services.
Dual Mode Pump
The dual mode pump is the versatile solution for refinery and plant facilities. Compliant with C.A.R.B/E.P.A. Tier 2 emission standards, it is adaptable to both open-flame and close-flame environments and provides a wide range of pump rates and pressures. The dual mode pump is equipped with real-time video monitoring capability to the monitor cryogenic pump operations.
It provides additional safety with emergency shut-down devices for high-pressure, high-temperature environments, and spark arrestors to eliminate potential ignition sources. Its hydraulically driven pumps eliminate the use of chains, belts and pulleys for smoother, more efficient movements. With a heat recovery system that delivers up to 180,000 SCF, it provides significant fuel savings.
Transport & Mobile Queen Tanks
This 52-foot storage unit helps minimize transportation costs and facility congestion with its large capacity and pumping capabilities. The Queen Storage Tank safely stores over 1,500,000 SCF onsite, which helps reduce on-site traffic for reloads and provides high-rate product requirements in industrial operations. It provides 24 hours of pumping at 1,000 SCFM, and allows transport unloads without interrupting pumping operations. In combination with our large fleet of nitrogen transport units, the queen storage tank ensures product availability and superior job logistics. The queen storage tanks are strategically located throughout North America.
